Unix Consultant / Team lead• 8+ years relevant experience on Sun Solaris • Experience in leading and mentoring of UNIX team. • Experience in handling production level escalations. • Strong general Unix System Administration skills on following: User Adminstration/NIS/NFS/Automounter/DNS/Mail/Patch & Package administration. • Strong working experience on mid/high range Sun servers like Sun Fire V890's, E6900. • Experience in volume management software's like Solstice Disk Suite , Veritas Volume Manager. • Hands-On experience in setup and troubleshooting Clusters like Su Clusters and/or Veritas Cluster Servers. • Hands on experience in setup and trouble shooting of Jumpstart • Have good exposure on storage technology like RAID levels EMC exposure preferred. • Proficiency in shell Scripting and performance tuning of Unix Systems • Willing to work on 24x7 and night shifts • Having valid B1/H1 visa will be an added advantage • Sun Certifications will be an added advantage Unix Administrator• 5+ years relevant experience on Solaris administration • Strong general Unix System Administration skills on following: User Adminstration/NIS/Automounter/DNS/Mail/Patch & Package administration. • Strong working experience on mid/high range Sun servers like Sun Fire V890's, E6900. • Experience in volume management software's like Solstice Disk Suite , Veritas Volume Manager. • Hands-On experience in setup and troubleshooting Clusters like Su Clusters and/or Veritas Cluster Servers. • Hands on experience in setup and trouble shooting of Jumpstart • Have good exposure on storage technology like RAID levels with EMC exposure preferred. • Proficiency in shell Scripting and performance tuning of Unix Systems • Willing to work on 24x7 and night shifts • Having valid B1/H1 visa will be an added advantage • Sun Certifications will be an added advantage
